About the event
Dolphin Dance combines elements of Lomi Lomi, Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Reiki, and Cranial-sacral in warm water. From my experience as a professional dancer I developed the choreography with a particular focus on body mechanics to avoid repetitive strain injury in the practitioners, in order to safeguard therapist longevity.
The session focuses on neck-shoulders and sacral release, and is extremely adaptable to many body types and conditions encountered in the work as a therapist. My experience in the bodywork field was adapted to the fluid environment with the intention to create ease of touch and effortlessness. Strokes and techniques are applied seamlessly above and below the receiver’s body, enveloped by the mana of presence and the clarity of intent reached at a profound level of inner alignment, reflected in posture and heart-soul connection.
This course is valid to become licensed in Hawaii as a Massage Therapist and is recognized by the state Board of Therapeutic Massage. Cost: $600
